Red Dead Redemption 2 shows off Dead Eye System, heists and more in new gameplay

Red Dead Redemption 2 Trailer 3

Rockstar is gearing up to take to the promotional trail for Red Dead Redemption 2, and we’ve got a new gameplay trailer showcasing some new and improved systems.

This new gameplay footage showcases a lot of open-world content and a bunch of new supporting gameplay systems. The exploration and gunplay being central to the experience in Red Dead Redemption 2 means we get to see a lot more of it this time around. As you ride throughout the world in this game, you’ll encounter different side activities with a wide range of rewards. From taking down rival gang hideouts, engaging in organic gun battles and heists, or just riding across the land; Red Dead Redemption 2 will put plenty of challenges in your way.

The experience blends action and story very seamlessly, with every action having some form of consequence. If you rob a train, expect the law on your tail. If you rip off a rival gang for a big score, they’ll be hunting you looking for revenge. The player will always need to keep their head on a swivel if they want to survive. Luckily, you have an arsenal of weapons and abilities, like the Dead Eye mode seen in the trailer,  in order to keep yourself alive.

If you want to see more of this new game, check out the first gameplay footage, and then there’s that very first teaser trailer. Or maybe you want to see what pre-order bonuses and collector’s editions are on offer. If you’re a PS4 owner, you might want to look into the PS4 Pro bundle for Red Dead Redemption 2.

Red Dead Redemption 2 releases for PS4 and Xbox One on October 26th, 2018. You can check out the newest trailer for the game down below.
