New Red Dead Redemption 2 trailer is online

Red Dead Redemption 2 Trailer 3

Rockstar Games has shared the latest trailer for Red Dead Redemption 2.

In it, the focus is back on John Marston, and this trailer is all about setting the tone for the upcoming sequel. Well, it’s actually a prequel to the first game that shows just what happened prior to the events of the first game. We know from the trailer that the main antagonist Dutch van der Linde will play a heavy role in what happens to Marston. Beyond that, we know Marston falls out of favor with his new enemy and is probably going to have to fight hard just to survive.

The open-world Western game will feature many of the typical elements of a Rockstar action-adventure game. Missions with a variety of colorful NPCs. PCs with interesting and painful backstories, Red Dead Redemption 2 should have all that and much more come its final release.

Check out the trailer and the official description of the game below.

America, 1899. The end of the wild west era has begun as lawmen hunt down the last remaining outlaw gangs. Those who will not surrender or succumb are killed.

After a robbery goes badly wrong in the western town of Blackwater, Arthur Morgan and the Van der Linde gang are forced to flee. With federal agents and the best bounty hunters in the nation massing on their heels, the gang must rob, steal and fight their way across the rugged heartland of America in order to survive. As deepening internal divisions threaten to tear the gang apart, Arthur must make a choice between his own ideals and loyalty to the gang who raised him.

Rockstar games will release Red Dead Redemption 2 on October 26, 2018 to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One systems.
