So it turns out that the console versions of Red Dead Redemption 2 are bloody massive. The PlayStation 4 version requiring 105 GB minimum, and its Xbox One version weighing in at a massive size of 88.57 GB.
In an interesting twist, at least for this console generation, Red Dead Redemption 2 may well ship with two discs on consoles. This point of shipping with two Blu-ray discs is supported by information on the back cover of the Japanese PS4 version. It’s not known, but it’s a good idea to assume that the Xbox One version will ship with two discs to speed up install times. However, it’s important to note that has yet to be confirmed by Rockstar Games at the moment.
Assuming this is true, it will make it much easier for fans to not have to faff about with downloading extra game files for hours on end in order to play the game.
