King Slayer mode in Call of Duty: Warzone explained

What is the King Slayer mode in Call of Duty: Warzone?

Call of Duty: Warzone has been steadily adding more and more content to the game. The game already has plenty of stuff to do, and people to shoot, but now things are getting even more competitive. The newest addition to the game is called Season Five Reloaded, and has some very interesting new addons. King Slayer mode in Call of Duty: Warzone is the biggest addon for the game with this patch cycle, making for some very strange ideas and a lot of weird changes that are coming.

The new season, Season Five Reloaded, will be underway from August 28 to September 7. So get ready to enter combat again.

The new features that will be something entirely new as well, called the King Slayer mode, which makes the game much more unpredictable. The publisher has said that the mode brings new ideas to the game as having a bunch of older stuff getting revamped. Activision has made some pretty strange choices here, but they should work pretty well once you get a grasp on them. As the company puts it, the game mode is a “large-scale Team Deathmatch.”

When the new season begins later this week, the new deathmatch mode will come to pass, and it is similar to Rumble in some ways. King Slayer uses a unique twist on King mechanics. At any given point throughout the game, the top five teams’ top players will be marked as kings, and killing any of the marked players will reward points to the winner. The top-scoring players will then have to jockey for position over each other. And it’s made harder because everyone can see the Kings on the mini-map.

The moving circle is still there, as are all of the other nonsense. Each team will have to battle each other while also contending with the King mechanic. The best teams are basically marked with a target on their backs, so it’s not going to be too easy. Any teams that manage to succeed and get kills will also be awarded free kill streaks to make them more powerful.
