Path of Exile takes a look back and announces ExileCon merch

Path of Exile Blight Expansion Announced

The schedule for ExileCon is pretty loaded. Path of Exile will be taking a step into the future with upcoming announcement of both expansions headed our way over the next six months. That means that we’re getting reveals of both Path of Exile 3.9 and Path of Exile 4.0 expansions during the event. The developer will be streaming this live on Twitch, and there’s much more to the convention than that. Fans of the ARPG will be able to see some Q&As with developers as well as live gameplay demos of the new content on stream.

So with that news in hand, GGG isn’t done quite yet. The company announced two sets of swag themed around the convention. There are two sets of merchandise being made for the event. One set of items will be given away to attendees. If you are heading to ExileCon, you will be getting a nice T-shirt, a cloth map of Wraeclast, an exclusive Devourer themed portal effect for your POE account. Those at the event center can head over to the vendor area and grab a variety of themed items including t-shirts, hats, pins and other items inspired by Path of Exile.

You can check out the sold merch in the official post here. GGG also published a post showing off the swag over here.

And to get people in the mood to talk about POE in depth, Grinding Gear Games has also revealed a special treat for long-time fans. The company just released a quick little look back at the history and development of the game. The series of new screenshots, shown off here, details a quick overview of past expansions, showing just how far Path of Exile has come. It’s crazy to think that in just six years, POE was originally released on October 23, 2013, the game has completely morphed away from its Diablo 2 roots and become one of the best free-to-play games and ARPGs. Sure it has a steep learning curve, but damn it’s a great game.
