Ace Combat 7 Gamescom gameplay released
Bandai Namco has another treat for fans this week to celebrate Gamescom 2018. The company has finally announced the release date for the simulator, much to the delight of fans, as January 18, 2019. That date applies to the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game. The PC release via Steam comes a short while later on February 1st.
To celebrate the announcement, and the beginning of Gamescom 2018, Bandai Namco has released a gameplay trailer showing off some of the fancy bits of the game. I must say, the games visuals look incredible, I just hope performance keeps pace with all the on-screen action.
We see lots of new and old characters and hints at the story of the legendary pilot Trigger, who the player controls through the course of the game. Ace Combat is throwing pilots new and old deep into the fray with this outing. Deep and long-lasting geopolitical tensions will boil over in Ace Combat 7, and one question remains. Are you ready to deal with the fallout from your actions?
In related news, there will also apparently be two dedicated flight sticks released for this game. The ACE COMBAT 7 Flight Stick HOTAS will be made by Hori. And the Flight Hotas 4 ACE COMBAT 7: SKIES UNKNOWN Edition will be produced by Thrustmaster.
