Dying Light 2 Stay Human PC System Requirements

Dying Light 2 release date teased

Dying Light 2 Stay Human is roaring onto the PC. Dying Light 2 developer Techland has put a ton of effort into making the game shine for the next-gen of both console and PC hardware. There’s a much larger amount of stuff to do this time around. The game also has an exponentially bigger map and a ton more to do. The developers have now been quoted to death as saying the game has more than 500 hours of content. That leads players with a lot to play through, and their gaming rigs with a lot to process.

Dying Light 2 Stay Human PC System Requirements

Dying Light 2 Stay Human has some pretty accessible system requirements. The game has a bunch of zombie to render, so you need a fair amount of PC power to get it done.

CPU and GPU requirements vary, depending on if you want to run with ray tracing or not. The advanced lighting tech is pretty demanding, so you obvious need more power to enable it. For the Nvidia fans out there, an RTX 2070 8GB is the minimum for running the game at lower graphics settings, but with ray tracing tech turned on.

On the storage end of things, you need 60GB of space on your hard drive, which is pretty reasonable these days. Although if you’re stuck downloading all that via Steam on a slow connection, I pity you.

Minimum

  • CPU: Intel Core i3-9100 or AMD Ryzen 3 2300X
  • GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 Ti or AMD Radeon RX 560
  • RAM: 8 GB RAM
  • Storage: At least 60 GB of available space
  • Operating System: Minimum of Windows 7, 64-Bit

If you want Dying Light 2 to look as good as possible, you should instead aim to run it at full HD. The improvement in both performance and visual quality should help improve the enjoyment of the game immensely. Though since you need a GPU akin to the Nvidia RTX 2060 or RX Vega 56 graphics cards, you might be out of luck if you’re a victim of the GPU shortage.

If you want to run with Ray Tracing on, the CPU and GPU requirements jump as well. You’ll need something like a Ryzen 7 3700X and RTX 3080 10GB to run this beast of a game with all the effects turned on. On the CPU side of things, there’s a need for the  i5-8600K to turn on that beautiful ray tracing effect.

Strangely, Techland hasn’t given any PC spec recommendations for playing Dying Light 2 in Quad HD or 4K. So at least give it a try to see what kind of frame rates you can get.
