Official Final Fantasy VII Remake trailer all but confirms PC version

How long does it take to beat Final Fantasy VII Remake?

Square Enix has released a new trailer for the launch of Fantasy VII Remake and it contains some very interesting details. During the course of the gameplay, Square notes that said trailer features gameplay that was captured on a PC. This means that there is a build of some form of the game running on a Windows PC. This may not explicitly confirm the possibility of a PC port, but fans are taking it as a good sign.

The lack of aliasing and other visual artifacts and defects within the trailer certainly shows, as the footage looks amazing, and fans have taken notice. So it’s certainly becoming a lot more likely that we could see the Final Fantasy VII Remake PC port become a thing over the next year or two.

Square Enix initially announced that Final Fantasy VII Remake would be coming first on PS4. And fans were quick to ask for more details on the potential of other platforms getting a port. That question was quickly answered when the box art revealed that the remake would be a timed exclusive to the Sony console until 2021.

Check out the trailer below, and be aware that it does contain spoilers, so if you’re brand new to Final Fantasy VII it could be avoided. Fantasy VII Remake is out now for PS4.
