New Jump Force trailer for Boruto Uzumaki and Dai

Boruto Uzumaki and Dai join Jump Force

Bandai Namco has announced two new characters that will join the Jump Force roster on launch. If you thought the massive and thorough roster for the upcoming fighting game was comprehensive enough already, the developers appear to disagree.

The trailer showcases the two new additions in some high-energy action scenes. And you can see them for yourself in the trailer down below.

We see Baruto, who is Naruto’s son from Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, going head-to-head in combat. Yes. he does get access to teh legendary Rasengan in-game. I’m curious what other moves he’ll get when the game comes out. And in case you’re counting, that’s six characters from the Naruto universe in Jump Force. Some fan favorites may have been omitted, but that’s unavoidable with a roster already this massive.

Dragon Quest: The Adventures of Dai is a manga based on the video game series franchise, and seeing the main character of that game property included here, especially given the RPG focus of that franchise not seemingly meshing with a fighting game. Obviously Bandai Namco disagrees with that. Although given the popularity of the manga series, that’s been going strong since the 1980s, it was probably an easy choice to put the character in Jump Force.

If you want an even deeper look at this game, Bandai Namco has you covered with plenty more trailers and footage. There was a recent batch of screenshots hyping up various additions from the Naruto universe. You could also take a look at some gameplay footage showing off the deep character creator.

In terms of other announcements the roster was recently revealed to have expanded to include characters from Black Clover. If you want to see some more characters in action, there’s plenty to gawk at in other trailers. During TGS 2018, characters from Yu Yu Hakusho and Hunter X Hunter were revealed. Yugi Moto from Yu-Gi-Oh! was another addition to be unveiled after that. Another recent character source was the Rurouni Kenshin property.

Jump Force will launch for PS4, Xbox One, and PC on February 15. If you’d like to pre-order the game, and snag yourself some nice bonuses, you can do so right now on Amazon.
