How to capture Solosis in Pokémon Go

How to get Pokéballs in Pokémon Go during COVID-19

Solosis is a Psychic-type Pokémon. With its two evolutions,  the first being Duosion, and the second being Reuniclus, there’s plenty of power in this mysterious form. Solosis is making its debut in Pokémon Go as part of an expanded in-game event this month. It’s a pretty strong contender with a good mix of Psychic and other elemental moves. There are variants with Zen Headbutt and Thunder for example. Nightshade and Psyschock will also be moves it can use.

The event featuring Solosis in Pokémon Go begins on March 27 beginning at 8:00am in your local timezone. This will run as part of the Psychic Spectacular Event wherein Solosis will spawn at a higher rate than normal, as well as being farmable from  2-kilometer eggs. Psychic-type Pokémon will appear in raids as well, adding a new dimension to these events. And yes, this means Solosis will also appear in raids.

It’s likely that the developer will implement the event in such a way that will allow anyone staying home during the COVID-19 pandemic to take part regardless of where they are. That way we won’t have to venture out and risk out health just to catch Solosis in Pokémon Go.

And don’t worry if you miss the event, even after it ends on the 30th, Solosis is sticking around in Pokémon Go. The Psychic-type will be restricted to 5-kilometer eggs and will be spawn restricted to certain times of the day.

Niantic has also relaxed various challenges within the game in response to the COVID-19 outbreaks. The company implemented a new one-time consumable purchase for a single Coin that would give a player a huge amount of Pokéballs.
