Fallout 76 PC requirements and other details revealed

Fallout 76 PC Requirements

Bethesda has finally released a confirmed listing for the system requirements for Fallout 76 on PC. Surprisingly, they’re actually pretty tame by modern standards.

The specs themselves seem in line with modern mid-range PCs in my experience, the GTX 780 and R9 285 are both roughly four years old at this point, but still put up respectable benchmarks on lower settings. I’d expect the minimum setup listed to tend towards a 30 FPS average with lower-end graphics detail. In essence, this would be akin to a console experience, maybe slighter better FPS.

We also learned the install size for the game will come in at a minimum of 60 GB. Which means console gamers won’t have to fiddle with two discs like for Red Dead Redemption 2, but the download time for those on slower broadband internet are still going to be pretty long. Better find a good book to read.

Fallout 76 will officially launch on November 14, 2018, releasing on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. You can check out the full PC system requirements down below. If you want to get your hands on the game early, the The next Fallout 76 Beta will start on October 30, 2018.
