CORSAIR has recently made a wide range of PC accessories available to help customize a custom PC. These include individually sleeved PSU cables, a sleeved front panel extension kit, a premium sleeved SATA cable, a premium PCIe 3.0 x16 extension cable, and TM30 Performance Thermal Paste.
The first components they announced are the CORSAIR Premium Individually Sleeved PSU Cables Pro and Starter Kits. This gives you a variety of Type 4 Gen 4 cables in a bundle, which are all compatible with CORSAIR Type 4 PSUs and feature seven different color combinations for you to choose from to best compliment your PC. These cables come clad in premium paracord, feature heatshrink-less connectors, and include pre-installed modular 24-pin and 8-pin interlocking cable combs. The Pro Kit includes the following: 1 ATX 24-PIN cable, 2 EPS12V/ATX12V cables, 2 PCIe Dual cables, 2 PCIe Single cables, 2 SATA cables, and 2 Peripheral cables. This Pro Kit is set at a price of $109.99.
The Starter Kit, on the other hand, includes the following cables: 1 ATX 24-PIN cable, 1 EPS12V/ATX12V cable, and 2 PCIe Single cables. This Starter Kit is priced at $69.99. All cables included in both the Pro and Starter kits are also available separately, if you don’t need everything in one of the sets.
Next up was the CORSAIR Premium Sleeved Front Panel Extension Kit. This kit includes 30cm extension cables for your Power Switch, Reset Switch, LED +/-, USB 2.0 and 3.0 slots, and your HD Audio connection. The Extension Kit is priced at $29.99.
Next up is the Premium Sleeved SATA Cable. This cable supports a speed of 6Gbps and comes in your choice of four colors (black, red, white, and blue), and come in two sizes, 30cm and 60cm. That way you have plenty of choice when it comes to the needs for your system’s aesthetic. One cable, no matter which size you pick, is priced at $9.99.
Following the SATA cable is the CORSAIR Premium PCIe 3.0 x16 Extension Cable. This cable is 300mm long, which, as CORSAIR claims, is “ideal for use with the vertical GPU mounts in CORSAIR cases such as the 275R or 500D”. The cable features EMI shielding as well as five-wire banded construction to make it as flexible as possible. This cable is priced at $59.99.
Finally, we have the CORSAIR TM30 Performance Thermal Paste. This paste is zinc-oxide based and is developed to help ensure improved performance over common thermal paste thanks to its ultra-low thermal impedance. CORSAIR’s new paste has a low viscosity as well, allowing it to fill in microscopic abrasions. They also claim that it has extremely high stability, lasting years without drying, cracking, or having any change whatsoever in consistency. One tube of paste is $7.99.
