Yakuza 0 and Yakuza Kiwami announced for PC

Sega has announced that Yakuza 0 and Yakuza Kiwami are heading to the PC via Steam.

First up is Yakuza 0, which launches for the PC on August 1. This will be followed by Yakuza Kiwami and Valkyria Chronicles 4 at a later date, though we don’t know exactly when that will be.

Yakuza 0, a prequel to the Yakuza series, debuted in Japan on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 in March 2015. Yakuza Kiwami is a remake of the original Yakuza, which debuted in December 2005 on PlayStation 2 in Japan; it was released in January 2016 on PS3 and PS4 in Japan. While Sega has since brought both Yakuza 0 and Yakuza Kiwami stateside on PS4, this will be the first time that any entry in the long-running open-world franchise has been released on PC.

Both PC ports will support 4K resolution and an uncapped frame rate.

Yakuza Kiwami 2 will also be unleashed shortly after all these bits as well. For the unaware, that game is a remake of the original Yakuza 2 from all the way back in 2006.
