Genshin Impact’s update 1.3 release date and more revealed

Genshin Impact Elemental Reactions Guide

Genshin Impact’s update 1.3 is soon to come to the ever-expanding world created by MiHoYo. The dev team has announced that the next major content drop is expected to land sometime in the next few weeks.

Rumors about Genshin Impact have been spreading far and wide since the game’s release. But unlike some issues, like the Switch port, there’s actual confirmation this time. There’s a live stream expect sometime tomorrow that will reveal more about the game’s next expansion. And it turns out that we’re still not quite getting much news though.

The new live stream will be called “All That Glitters,” will go live on Genshin Impact’s YouTube channel at 11AM ET, 8AM PT, and 4PM BT. The stream will be able to be seen by all. The stream itself will reveal the theme of the new expansion, as well as various minor details about it. Those specifics are pretty scarce right now, but the thing that has been teased so far is a new event quest called the Lantern Rite event quest.

And though the developer has confirmed that new items and quests will be added, you might not have to rush and farm for rare resources. The confirmation included a hint that the new event quests won’t require consuming even more of that precious Original Resin. Other changes include buffs to some heroes, so that’s good.

Currently, there is no specific release date for this patch, although the general consensus seems to be that it’s due out before the end of February 2021.
