This item is new, and was added in update V.0.1 to the game. Wood Resin in Green Hell is used in a few different recipes. You can use it to make Torches, which are very important. Where to find Wood Resin in Green Hell
Wood Resin is found exclusively on dead trees, which look very distinct from the living, standing variety. They have grey bark most of the time, and are sometimes broken or fallen over. You will see the Wood Resin spawn as a white blob on the bark of trees around. It stands out pretty easily, but you still need to pay attention to see it.
