The hybrid mod, Amalgam Serration in Warframe grants bonuses to primary weapon damage, and sprint speed. When you will use it, you won’t be able to use the standard Serration mod along with it. Amalgam Serration in Warframe is one of those mods that can be build-defining, so it can be very much worth it to farm for.
To obtain this mod you need to obtain 25 points during the Thermia Fractures event on Orb Vallis. The event is not permanent, but it is pretty standard at the moment. You will have to kill Coolant Raknoids in the event and use their parts to seal Thermi Fractures on Orb Vallis. You get one point for each fracture that you seal, although filling a canister you get from the Coolant Raknoids rewards you with seven points. In total, you will need to reach 25 points to unlock the Serration mod.
Amalgam Serration Stats
The Amalgam Serration Mod provides you with less damage increase than the standard Serration mod, which maxes out at +165 percent of damage, but this is still considered a pretty good mod by people who like to speed farm certain mission. Some missions like captures, spy missions or sabotage missions can be finished very quickly with the help of this mod, allowing for speed farming of Relics, or opening of Relics. Even when your primary weapon is holstered, the speed boost will apply to your Warframe, which makes it an excellent option for people who like to focus on their melee builds.
While you will not be able to use it along with the normal Serration mod, it can be used with the specific faction damage mods, which includes the Primed versions which are available from Baro Ki Teer. The mod is powerful, but it cannot be added on Exalted Weapons and Sentinel weapons.
