It’s been a while since we’ve done one of these update posts, and it’s time to let you know what’s been going on behind the scenes. We’ve been slowly plugging away at various plans over the last few months. Our readership has grown exponentially in the last few months, and we want to branch out. A big part of that plan is transitioning to more video content. With that in mind, we’re looking to hire a video editor here at ISKMogul.
Your job is simple, produce videos talking about the big news stories of the week.
What kind of videos are we looking for?
Here’s a general overview of the style of video we’re looking for.
- 60-90 seconds in length
- edited compilation of screenshots or footage relevant to the story
- text overlayed onto the footage, talking about the topic
- royalty-free audio as background
You simply create the videos and then send us a link where we can download the finished video. These videos will then be embedded into the site’s code to be served with relevant content.
The videos will be monetized through our ad provider, so YouTube monetization status isn’t a big deal. We’re also trying to grow our YouTube channel, so these new bits of content can help with that.
You would be paid per video that you produce, as well as get a share of ad revenue from these videos. You retain ownership of any videos we’re basically just paying you to produce them and upload them to our YouTube channel.
