Destiny 2: Beyond Light roadmap releases alongside new ViDoc

Destiny 2: Beyond Light has a full roadmap this week that reveals the plans for the future of the game. Over the weeks following launch, Destiny 2 will get a bunch of content, aimed at revamping everything to do with gear. Going into Year 4 of the game Bungie is pulling no punches. The Destiny 2: Beyond Light roadmap teases a bunch of stuff, let’s talk about that.

The first batch of content will be Stasis Unlocks for all three classes in the game. There will also be some new endgame content with a quest for the Exotic Salvation’s Grip Exotic Grenade Launcher. This will all kick off the Season of the Hunt, the next season of content in the game. New Strikes and Hunts lead the charge here, among some other stuff.

In the following weeks players will see Adept Weapons being added to Trials, which will occur on November 13. Wrathborn Hunts will be put into the game on the 17th. The first Iron Banner event will take place on December 8 before the yearly The Dawning event ends the year, going from December 15 to January 5.

The new expansion lands within Destiny 2, completely revamping the endgame, on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC on November 10. There’s even a next-gen version on the way. Destiny 2 will be getting its full next-generation upgrade on December 8 for both the PS5 and Xbox Series X. That means boosted framerate and resolution, with much better load times. The game will run at 4K resolution at 60FPS for the Series X and PS5 as well as offering a Field of View slider.
