A new Epic item was added in the Marvel-heavy Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 4 with Update 14.50. Players have found out that a new Stark Industries Jetpack can be found and equipped as a vehicle item. The Stark Industries Jetpack has a maximum charge of 100 and can be used to move through the air until the charge is depleted. The item will recharge over time, although it seems kind of slow in doing that.
There are reports of it dropping from a variety of locations. You don’t necessarily have to head to the Stark POI for it to drop. It’s a pretty useful item, as it has really good maneuverability. Players have been finding it all over from random chests and the like. It seems to most commonly be found from the random loot chests around the map. So drop into your favorite POI to start searching.
Retail Row often has a few of these in the various buildings, so many players seem to start by dropping in there. It’s very clearly marked with both the typical Epic purple drop color and has a very distinct red tint when equipped.
The downside here is that being an Epic, the drop chance is pretty low. So while we still have some time left in the season, be sure to go out and try to find it. If you can, feel free to try blasting around the map with it.
And even though the season is ending soon, there’s good news. Epic has confirmed that the PS5 and XSX versions of Fortnite are coming soon. So if you are looking forward to a new level of quality in your console experience, that’s great for you.
