We Happy Few, Shadow of Mordor, and Saints Row: The Third jumping to Xbox Game Pass

Xbox Game Pass: We Happy Few, Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor, The LEGO Movie Videogame, and More

Xbox Game Pass, the monthly subscription service that gives Xbox owners access to hundreds of games, downloaded directly to their consoles, all for one low price. Every month new games are added, and this month is no different.

Earlier this month, we already got a few new games which were pretty cool. Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3  landed on the 10th, bringing a bunch of fighting game action to the Xbox gamer world. But not content with that offering and the 100+ other games on the service

Today, January 17th, marks the launch of the first few games onto the service, with the addition of two new titles, We Happy Few and The LEGO Movie Video Game. We Happy Few is a somewhat controversial game that was supposed to act as a giant parody of dystopian worlds and the strife of the real world, but the execution resulted in a buggy mess of a game. The LEGO Movie Video Game is just a fun romp through a brick-filled world that’s also equally stuffed with chaos, but the good kind.

Later this month on the 24th, there’s two more games coming for the service. Shadow of Mordor, the excellent open-world action game that kicked off the amazing Shadow franchise leads off the newest bundle. If you need to catch up on the adventures of Talion the Ranger of Gondor, this is the perfect opportunity. Saints Row: The Third rounds things out with a trip into the mayhem of Stillwater. It’s arguably one of the better games in the franchise, behind the amazing second game.
