When does DOOM Eternal: The Ancient Gods Part 2 DLC release?

DOOM has been on a real tear recently. The franchise has been ripping its way through demons for decades now, and it shows no signs of slowing. The recent release of DOOM Eternal has ignited a fire for shooter action that has defined this generation. As an FPS game that can run on pretty much anything, the new game has allowed fans all over the globe to get in on the action.

But it looks like id wasn’t done with just releasing that stellar main game. We’ve been getting some regular updates and DLC as time has gone on. The latest planned release of post-launch content is DOOM Eternal: The Ancient Gods Part 2. This new pack wraps up the story from the main game and the first DLC, bringing DOOM Slayer’s journey to an end. But when does that happen?

Rip and tear your way through legions of Hell’s forces when the new DLC drops. id Software originally planned for both expansions to drop within one year of DOOM Eternal‘s release date, but that plan changed with all the chaos that was 2020. Now, we’re waiting for more news on when we get to wrap up the story from the main game and other DLC.

The company later released a new trailer for the DLC to tease things that are coming.

DOOM Eternal: The Ancient Gods Part 2 DLC Release Date

We don’t know for sure when the new DLC pack drops But at the very least, we get a full gameplay trailer dropping this Wednesday, March 17. Doom Eternal, currently available on PS4, PC, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch, is also expected to hit PS5 and Xbox Series X at some point. There’s a possibility that could happen later this year.

When we know more about the DLC tomorrow, expect more news on that front.
