Path of Exile’s Next Challenge League is Archnemesis

Path of Exile Archnemesis Revealed

Path of Exile 3.17 is almost here. Challenge Leagues are the special three-month league that most players encounter in POE. And with the endgame rework, we’re also getting the typical shorter content. The point of challenge leagues is a way for developer Grinding Gear Games to bring new mechanics in for players to tackle.

Each league brings out a new unique League mechanic. The mechanic often ties into the theme of the title. So what’s coming in Path of Exile Archnemesis?

Given the focus on the Siege of the Atlas content as the big endgame rework, we can probably guess at some things about this. Path of Exile Archnemesis will possibly feature some special boss fights tied into the rogue exiles and other threats we’ve encountered in Wraeclast. This is speculation, but it seems like the Elder, Shaper and other major threats may return in some way as well.

Check out the trailer for the new challenge league down below. The League will be going live on February 4th for PC along with the new Siege of the Atlas expansion. Console releases will follow soon after. More details coming on January 27th when the developer reveals the full expansion.
