Star Wars Battlefront 2: The Age of Rebellion is the latest set of patches for the popular shooter set in the exceedingly long-running sci-fi franchise. There are gameplay tweaks and new content, as well as a bunch of QoL changes and bug fixes. For the gameplay stuff, there are new units like the Ewok Hunter and ISB Agent acting as reinforcements. 4 new Blasters, 4 Capital Ships for Co-Op also act as new content. For blasters there are additions like the DL-18 which is meant for close-quarters and fast-paced fighting. Then there is the T-21 that offers a heavier option for more firepower. To unlock these and the other new weapons, score some kills and complete a certain number of matches.

Players will also see a ton of balance tweaks this patch cycle. The AI has also been improved in terms of pathfinding. The Age of Rebellion Update has packed in a ton of other things as well. There are some new map layouts in various game modes, particularly in Heroes Vs. Villains and Hero Showdown matches. These changes should make the gameplay less confusing in these missions. The co-op moods are being expanded to a few new planets like Jabba’s Palace, Kessel, Hoth and more.

With a bunch of Quality-of-Life improvements, the new patch will bring a ton of fixes and changes. For example, this patch improves various UI elements to make information about weapon stats and effects a little clearer. This particular set of fixes affects players in various colorblind modes.

In terms of bug fixes, Star Wars Battlefront 2: The Age of Rebellion has a fair bit there as well. Crashes and performance slowdowns have been dealt with in this patch.
