SOULCALIBUR VI showcases community-built character, Wizard Lizard

Bandai Namco let the user community for SoulCalibur design a character for the upcoming latest iteration in the fighting game series, SoulCalibur VI.

The new character is called Wizard Lizard, and as you would expect, it’s a weird looking wizard with wings and cat ears. It also has some zany magical powers that it makes use of in combat.

And even though the character’s moveset is admittedly a little lackluster compared to some of the more show-off fighters in the game (Azwel anyone?). Although it does showcase a lot of the flexibility of  the in-game character creation suite. SoulCalibur VI has a huge  selection of customization options that can create thousands of potential customizations. Bandai Namco may have well created something special if the community is able to keep churning out good content. Hopefully the company adds more tools to create more diversified content.

Of course this new addition makes up the latest of a significant number of new and returning characters for SoulCalibur VI. Characters like Cervantes, Raphael and Tira have already been announced. Azwel,  the magic-fueled lunatic is joining in on the fun as well. Older characters like Astaroth are getting a new lease on life too. Ivy and Zasalamel are joining the fray as well, because everyone is just coming out of the woodwork on this one. You can check out more of the roster over here.
