Pokemon GO releases Gen 4 update notes

Pokemon Go

The Gen 4 update is going live soon for mobile devices, so Niantic may well be adding a bunch of new beasties to Pokémon Go. This means that Sinnoh region assets may be found in-game soon. One big new addition is that Giratina, the Legendary is a Ghost/Dragon-type that’s infamous for being extremely tough.

And although the Generation 4 Pokémon aren’t spawning in the game yet, it’ll probably be only a short time before that happens. We wouldn’t expect it to happen this month though. Check out the patch notes down below.

In other Pokémon Go news, there’s a new Legendary with Meltan coming to the game alongside Pokémon: Let’s Go. Niantic has also announced that the October Community Day would feature the fan-favorite Psychic- and Steel-type Pokémon, Beldum. You should also check out the Gen 4 trailer down below.

Pokémon Go is available now on iOS and Android, and Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee! will be available exclusively on Nintendo Switch from November 16.
