As you adventure through Icarus, things can get kind of dicey. With all the bears and wolves running around, there’s a lot of teeth looking to bury themselves into your hide. And then there’s the environmental hazards to watch out for. With all the combat you’re going to be doing, and fires you need to put out, you will eventualy have to heal in Icarus.
How to heal in Icarus
There are a few basic healing items you can use to help keep yourself alive. The Basic Bandage is easy to make, and should always be carried on your person. There are also Deep Wound statuses you may be afflicted with. For these, you need to use the Suture Kit. Each of htese items takes a bit of basic resources to make.
- Basic Bandage – 40x Fiber
- Suture Kit – 16x Fiber, 4x Bone, 40x Leather
There are also some Herbalism items you can make on the Herbalism bench. Each of these healing items can be made fairly early on, and you should strive to have a few stored at your main base for when you need them. Maybe bring along one or two on any adventures for emergencies.
- Health Regeneration Paste – 2x Lily, 1x Tree Sap – +10% Base Health Regen
- Health Restoration Paste – 20x Lily, 20x Wheat, 10x Tree Sap – Fill lost Health
- Health Buff Paste – 2x Lily, 2x Wheat, 1x Tree Sap – +10% Base Max Health
- Antibiotic Tonic – 1x Yeast, 1x Epoxy, 3x Charcoal – Cures Infections
There are also some healing items for certain types of damage. The Heat Bandage, made from 16x Fiber, 4x Oxite and 40x Charcoal is a great way to heal after you get burned. And given how fast-spreading fires are in Icarus, that’s a very real danger. And sometimes, it’s just better to pass away and get back to your spawn point. It’s a lost cause sometimes.
But for those times when you want to make it out alive, you have options. Other items like Flatbread and Bread don’t offer healing, but instead, increase your max health pool for a time.
