Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker is coming soon, and now Bandai Namco have yet another trailer to showcase some more gameplay for the upcoming fighting game. Tape up your fists and stock up on kunai, we’re going in hot.
In this latest trailer, as the name implies, we get to see the basic mechanics of the Flag Battle mode. Players on both sides pick their team of ninja and do battle in alternating offensive and defensive skirmishes for control of the flag belonging to the other team. Yes, it’s basically just CTF in Naruto, but there’s a layer of strategy to it as well. Given that class roles and character customization can create a huge variety of team compositions, players will need to be ready for anything when duking it out in this or any other multiplayer mode.
Overall, it sounds like all the multiplayer battles, including the new CTF mode, will be very chaotic and fun. I can’t wait to check them out for myself.
Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker will hit the shelves in Japan on August 30th only for PS4, while European and North American gamers will get it the day after, on August 31st, for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Check out the latest trailer for the game down below.
If you want to learn more about the game, you can check out either some gameplay footage of the in-game class system, or the new team battle mode that’s the centerpiece of the game. If all that still isn’t enough for you, head over to Bandai Namco Entertainment’s site to learn even more.
