Check out the trailer for Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker down below. And good news for fans, the open beta phase begins tomorrow to test the new 4v4 combat mode that’s the focus of this latest trailer.
Bandai Namco are clearly aiming to create a much more authentic shinobi experience that’s more exciting and engaging to fans than previous games based on the popular Naruto franchise. With a roster of 22 characters, there’s lots of choices for the ideal ninja team in the game. And with the new team combat mode, your team choices matter so much more than you might think.
The speed and mobility of the battles means that careful use of our Jutsu, combined with a good team composition can mean the difference between victory and defeat in the new mode.
And yes, players can also create their own avatar with over 200+ customization items & skills, mainly pulled from the source material. So you’ll finally be able to create that Sasuke/Gaara crossover character you’ve dreamed about, or whatever else you can think up.
Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker releases in North America, Europe, and Southeast Asia on August 31, 2018 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The game releases on August 30 in Japan for PS4. You can read more about the game and it’s features at the official site.
