Mojang Studios has been hard at work on various Minecraft updates and addons over the last few months. The full launch of Minecraft RTX has given fans on the PC a new lighting engine to gawk over, but it’s going to be a different matter on console versions and spin-offs. Speaking of spin-offs, Minecraft Dungeons is putting out some new DLC this week.
Players get to trawl through the frozen wastes in a new DLC pack that adds new regions to explore and dungeons to delve into. A series of new Golems have been added to the game, such as the Squall Golem and Tempest Golem. Beyond that, the Ravagers have come, and need to be fought back. And fighting off these enemies unlocks new rewards in terms of items and enchantments.
You can gain new Chilly items that have an ice-cold edge for your foes, you could also gain new elemental enchantments that make the cold new environs easier to deal with. You will get new armor bits like the Emerald armor, and some climbing gear to help traverse the tundra, it’s all really cool. And not just because it’s pretty freaking cold.
There is one thing to remember with this DLC, this isn’t included in the Hero Pass. Mojang have split this pack off and will be releasing it and future major content drops under a new Season Pass.
The Howling Peaks DLC, as well as the Season Pass, is available now for Minecraft Dungeons on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch & PC If you want to take a look at what’s coming in the Minecraft Dungeons Howling Peaks, check out the trailer below.
