Microsoft and Playground Games have even more high-octane action of Forza Horizon 4, this time the gameplay is all about the Winter season and showing off the game world.
As we’ve covered before, Forza Horizon 4 takes place in England, and puts a laser-focus on the four major seasons of Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter. This latest bit of gameplay focuses purely on the icy and cold dangers and beauty of Winter. So all the differing weather conditions will affect racing and car control in interesting ways.
There’s also a lot of options for customization built into the game. Players can purchase new cars, upgrades and staff for their team and carry it all through the games races.
We also see the #Forzathon Shop. It will refresh every week as the season changes, but your points won’t reset. It’s a way to get items that you really want without any random element. There won’t be any item exclusive to the #Forzathon Shop, and it won’t be possible to use any other currency (real or virtual) to purchase items in this shop. So at least there’s no RMT in this game, which is good.
Players can also group up with friends and run through races together via the Convoy system that’s in the game from previous versions.
