How to become a famous musician

When you’re finished learning how to play an instrument through lessons and have aged up, you’re ready to join a band and begin touring. Like we mentioned in the other guide, this is a laborious process. You need to keep a close eye on the Jobs tab when you age up to see when a band is recruiting. You can also choose to be a solo artist, although this will often require raising your singing skill as well as your instrument skills that you’ve chosen.

Once you have chosen your path, you will want to routinely begin producing music and touring. Keeping the fans and your fellow bandmates happy is key to keeping the money and fans coming. You will want to keep two very important things in mind when trying to become a famous musician and singer in BitLife, popularity and respect. And you want to properly manage this, as it affects your album sales. If you want platinum albums, this is the way to go.

How popularity works in BitLife

The Popularity of your band or musical act is the general measure of how well-known your group or act is. Your band’s overall popularity will lower if you don’t do the work though, so keep putting out music. You will also want to keep practicing to raise your skills in your chosen instruments. As you gain more fans, this measurement will increase. Players will need to tour a few times a year to also keep their popularity up. Release albums or singles between tours to help fill in the gaps. You can also release compilation albums of all your most popular songs on a single album, and it’s much faster to produce.

How respect works in BitLife

The Respect bar is the other measurement for how well your band is doing. The respect is essentially a measurement for how well the bandmates like you. When you tour or release new music you will notice that there is a measurement for how well your band is doing with the Popularity and Respect meters. You can check this if you go to Jobs option under Occupation and look at what’s listed there.

If you want to increase your respect, you need to keep the fans happy. That means going on more tours regularly, as well as releasing music. It’s all very much like keeping Popularity soaring. As you are more helpful with the band’s success, you will see this start to increase. Another thing to do regularly is practice with the band. The more practice you put in between tours and albums, the better the band will do overall.
