How to become a solo artist in BitLife

How to join a band in BitLife

There are many things you can do in life sim BitLife, but some are more creative than others. You can get deep into musical pursuits, and become a band member or solo artist. There are so many options, but this guide will focus on how to become a solo artist in BitLife.

It’s a very simple process, as practice makes perfect. One of the many things you can do is learn an instrument and become a solo artist, but that’s not all you will need to do. You will also have to get into singing lessons, but we’ll cover that later in the post. So just get to the point until you can practice musical instruments in the Activities menu. Once you get there, try to get lessons in an instrument. If you’re lucky, your parents will pay for lessons. This usually only works for one instrument though, so don’t try to learn a bunch of instruments.

As you go through lessons, the stats in that area will rise, filling the meter. You don’t need to completely fill the meter though, just get into the green area. If you aren’t getting more growth, age up and try another lesson. You will eventually hit your peak though, so take what you can get.

You will need to have talent in a few areas, and there is a good way to get them down early. Convince your parents to pay for instrument lessons and get going. The lessons normally cost hundreds of dollars later in life, so get lessons early to lock down some skills ahead of time. Anyway, if you want to be a solo artist, you can jump onto any instrument. These are all of the instruments you can learn how to play:

But since you’re focusing on a solo career, your options are a bit more open.

Once you have high scores in an instrument and singing, it’s time to look for a job. Try to find a listing seeking a solo artist under a job called Musician. These can be for bands and solo gigs, Aim for the solo gigs if you want that career. There’s a good chance you won’t get the job the first time. If that happens, keep practicing and taking lessons when you can. This should raise your stats a bit. Age up and try again after you get rejected, eventually, you will land that artist dream job.

Doing all of this can unlock the potential to become a famous artist, which is very cool. Getting to this point unlocks the Fame stat and the related Famous menu. From here, it’s all about marketing yourself to become rich and famous. This will also unlock the Popularity and Respect systems. These are basic stats that reflect both how much your colleagues and fans like you. Do good things and put on good shows to keep these up.
