Farming Simulator 2019 trailer debuts player-built farms

Farming Simulator 19

GIANTS Software has released a some updated news for Farming Simulator 19. Over the course of the last year we’ve seen bits and pieces from the German devs, and now we have some new features to discuss that are quite substantial. And these new features and changes are sure to excite fans of the franchise.

The most significant change from previous version to this new one is that farms are much more customizable. Previously, farms were little more than numbered plots that could be unlocked to grow certain crops. Buildings and other environmental decoration were largely static. In this new release, players can modify their farms to a much more enjoyable degree. Plot size and placement can be altered, and buildings can be placed and modified.

The changes were announced at FarmCon. Yes, a farming simulation game has its own fan convention hosted by the devs. Some of these features were teased in the E3 2018 trailer for the game, so players have been waiting anxiously to see the confirmation of these new gameplay elements.

And just like previous games, there’s a deep upgrade tree for vehicles, crops and buildings. Players will be able to purchase their own plots of land, and place buildings. These buildings can even be upgraded to house more stuff (such as upgrading animal stables). This new feature also carries over to the multiplayer mode, where there will be up to four farms with four players (or teams), and each one will have their own collection of vehicles and individual bank accounts. Players will also be able to purchase multiple farms and houses to build their agricultural empire.
