Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya shown off in F1 2020 trailer

Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya is the second trailer shown off via a trailer for F1 2020. Codemasters, the developer behind the project, has revealed the new track in the latest trailer for the upcoming racing game. F1 2020 is adding various new tracks, an updated driver roster, and improved simulation in Codemasters’ latest effort for the racing franchise.

And much like the last trailer, showcasing Circuit Zandvoort, this new trailer mixes a brilliant recreation of the track with some incredible racing visuals and sound. With this new trailer, we get in-cockpit views and some very immersive footage of the car rounding the track at breakneck speeds. I will never tire of the whine of F1 engines and the mixture of on-board and aerial shots with these games, they’re just so awesome to behold.

And aside from the wonderful visuals and audio, Codemasters is working on gameplay improvements for F1 2020 too. A franchise game mode called My Team will allow the player to take on the managing role of a racing team. Handling everything from coordinating part development to hiring and managing new drivers. Think of this as Motorsport Manager with the smooth racing sim gameplay of the officially licensed F1 games.

The Career Mode and My Team form a new package built out for the ultimate racing sim fan. Whether you want to belt around the iconic tracks of the sport as a driver or manage the team for a full 22 race season, there’s an option for you here. You will be able to adjust the settings of the races for longer and shorter stints, and tweak other rules to your liking as well. The game will also feature a two-player split-screen mode.
