Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Xbox Series X gameplay will premiere on May 7

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Mechanics Guide

A new report has revealed that Ubisoft and Microsoft are about to show off something gamers have been waiting for over the last few months. There is an Xbox Series X gameplay reveal event scheduled for May 7 at 8.00am PT/11.00am ET/4.00pm BST. The event will star various next-gen titles, including the newly revealed Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.

Microsoft will team up with various partners and show their games at the event. details are still a bit murky though, we will know more later this week though. Microsoft has revealed a few things about their plans though. There is an official Cyberpunk 2077 Xbox One console and controller coming as well. Players will even get a free copy of Cyberpunk 2077 for the Xbox Series X if they buy the game for the current-gen Xbox.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla has a new setting and a bunch of new gameplay mechanics. Players will be taking on a new Viking-infused and war-fueled conflict between the Templars and the Assassins. The game includes new systems built around building up relationships with a new cast of NPCs and players managing their own settlement. The system also has an entirely new multiplayer mode involving raiding other players and battling their armies.

The game will be part of a wider strategy for Microsoft and there’s lots of very interesting but mysterious projects in the works. Ubisoft is part of it, but it looks like Microsoft is leading the charge on something big. This partnership provides evidence that the game may appear in the reveal to be held on May 7. It is unlikely that we will see next-gen games from Xbox Game Studios, as these teams are “hard at work on some big summer plans.
