With both a free and paid update on the way, players have a ton of new customization options for their islands. With the Happy Home Paradise DLC. players will be able to place down some new paths. One such new addition is the ability to permanently place ladders in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. A big part of the new update is new ways to customize your islands and their layout. Players can make their island even work in different ways with Ordinances that do different things.

There’s also added stuff to do with new NPC Brewster, as well as a bunch of new decoration options relating to the Pro Decorating License. Players can also get their hands on a new pack of Reactions.

All the stuff mentioned above will be added as a free update, with the DLC adding the vacation and resort content. As for the premium update, it’s a lot of stuff for homes. So let’s talk about that.

Paradise Planning will assist players by suggesting certain items to help flesh out the interior, based on the client’s preferred theme.

One of the drastic new changes also applies to the outside of homes. The interior designer has been applied to the outside of a home as well. Players can move furniture items and place them directly from their inventory inside and outside.
