How to get the new reactions in Animal Crossing: New Horizons 2.0

Animal Crossing: New Horizons

Animal Crossing: New Horizons‘ 2.0 update has dropped a full 2 days early, as Nintendo let Christmas come early. There are a ton of new features being added in this update. There’s the new resort island content, where you can bring new visitors to a special vacation spot.  There’s also a bird-brained new pal in Brewster, who can be invited to your island. There’s so much more to discuss, too much for this guide. There are so many things, this is all a bit overwhelming. Animal Crossing: New Horizons 2.0 is packing in the nonsense

The new decoration options like being able to hang stuff from the ceiling in houses are game-changers. That’s not even remotely it, though, there’s so much more. Players will find a whole mess of DIY recipes, upgrades and other junk to mess with. Like any other major update to the game, there’s plenty of cosmetic options to tweak your character with. One of the big ones is a massive pack of new reactions.

How to get the new reactions in Animal Crossing: New Horizons 2.0

Head to the Nook Stop in Resident Services, there should be a new Reactions booklet there, selling for 3,300 Nook Miles. You need to buy that and let your character read it to unlock it.

If you want to change your pre-assigned Reactions, press ZR to bring up your Reaction wheel. From here, press Y to change your favorites and swap some stuff out. It works just like favoriting items in the item wheel. You might need to replace an existing reaction on your wheel first.
