Isle of Armor is out for Pokémon Sword and Shield. This is the first of two DLC packs planned for the game. Both add new roster elements, more Trainer battles and so much more. Isle of Armor brings in a new set of areas to catch monsters in as well. It’s also great for farming for Watts and high-IV Pokémon. All in all, it’s a really cool DLC pack.
The new DLC is meant for players that have completed the main story. So if you just bought the game, finish the main quest first and then hop in for the best experience.

How To Download Pokémon Isle Of Armor DLC
- Start up the Nintendo Switch or press the Home button on your controller
- Select Pokemon Sword or Pokemon Shield
- Press the + button for additional options
- Select Software Update
- Then select to update from the internet
From this point, assuming you have already purchased the DLC, it should pull the update down from Nintendo and install it. Once it has been downloaded, take the time to install it and you’re ready to go.
