There’s plenty of other things to find throughout the game. There are also some useful ways to get powerful healing items, like the Lava Cookie. You might also want to figure out how to find Ditto as well. If you’re hunting for Evolutions, there are tons of items you need to grab to finish the BDSP Pokédex. There’s the Electrizer to evolve some Electric types. There’s the Magmarizer to get Magmar as well. The game also has a ton of items and hidden stuff to find. Anyway, back to the point.
There are two tasks that you need to finish to get access to the area where the Shed Shell is. You need to basically finish the game. You need to start by beating the Elite Four, making yourself the Champion. After that, you need to work on completing the Regional Dex. You don’t need to capture all 150 Sinnoh Pokémon, just need to mark them as seen to finish this up. This will allow you to get the National Dex and move on to the true endgame.
How to find the Shed Shell
After you have done all of that, here’s where to go. You then need to head to the Fight Area by taking the boat from Snowpoint City, head north from there to reach route 225 to the Survival Area. Head east from there to reach the right spot. You should end up in Route 228.
Head south once you reach Route 228 and keep on the left side of the map. There’s a Trainer there that’s standing in front of tall grass. Beat the Trainer and move into the Grass. You will come acrss a set of stairs with a rock at the top. Use Rock Smash to get past that, then grab the Shed Shell from the ground.
You can also find the Shed Shell in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl as a Held Item from the Pokémon on Route 228. Venemoth, Dustox, Beautifly and Seviper all have a chance to spawn with the item. It’s a very low 5% chance, but it’s possible.
