Where to find the Earth Plate in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl
Fair warning, you need to get your hands on the following moves to actually reach the Plate: Strength, Rock Smash, and Surf. You will need all of these moves to get past various obstacles. And since you need to be able to use those moves outside of battles, you need to beat the Oreburgh City, Pastoria City, and Canalave City Gyms first. Do that, then get your team together with those moves.
Once you’re ready, head to Oreburgh Gate and take the north path. you will find a path down into the room below. Keep going south and you will encounter a body of water you must Surf across. Head east across the water and you will see a Trainer standing in front of a staircase. Beat the Trainer, then head down the stairs. There will be rocks you have to smash to get the Earth Plate from the southern side of this lower area.
