The Orchard in Fortnite is one of many iconic locales inside the game. Throughout the map players will find a variety of different locations, and each one will often be attached to some goal or challenge. This season, Epic has shifted locations around and made some changes, they also added a bunch of other new content as well. A new batch of weekly challenges has spawned, like hunting floaties on Deadpool’s Yacht. Epic will continue adding content to their juggernaut of a game in the future, so be sure to check back for more as we add it.
The Orchard isn’t attached to a challenge this time around though, it’s just a great place to gather some resources. There are many different ammo boxes and other loot containers. You can’t also stoop by and grab some food and other resources. The entire area is themed around agriculture, so there’s even a farmer’s market. Although the crafting and upgrade materials scattered around, combined with the upgrade bench nearby, break the theme a bit. All this together does make this all very useful as a place to drop.
Check out the map below to find the location of this useful zone. The Orchard in Fortnite can be a very good place to drop in, so memorize it now. The area leads deeper into the Frenzy Farm, so it could be a path to more resources and loot as well.
As for what else you can find, there are also some useful tools scattered around. Stop by one of the campfires and try hunting down some Fireflies around them. These can make really useful burning weapons for taking down structures.
