Capcom releases new promo videos ahead of launch of Resident Evil 2 Remake

The Resident Evil 2 Collector’s Edition

Capcom has revealed a new set of five promotional teasers for the upcoming remake of Resident Evil 2. And since we’re only a few months out from the release of the the spiffy new version of the survival horror classic, it seems Capcom felt the need to tease fans once again.

Check out all five of the promotional videos down below, each one is just a short teaser, showing a little snippet of story or gameplay in each six second clip. The footage in most of these is just tiny elements from gameplay or trailers we’ve seen before, but there is a small tease we haven’t seen yet. Buried in the fifth clip is a previously unreleased scene between Leon and Claire, so that’s pretty cool to see something new.

If you want to check out the game in more detail, Capcom has you covered with a lot more footage and details. There’s some screenshots showing other characters like Sherry, as well as some other iconic bosses and baddies from the game. Once you’re done admiring that, you could take a gander at some gameplay showing graphical improvements and other changes to this classic video game.

One such example is the Ezra Walker costume for Claire. There’s also the top-end the Collector’s Edition of the game that features a 12″ statue. And if you’re really a super fan, you could throw an absurd bundle of cash at the $900 typewriter that’s being bundled with the Limited Edition.
