Warhammer: Chaosbane showcases Captain Of the Empire gameplay

By now, everyone not living the Patrick Star lifestyle has heard about the disastrous announcement of mobile game, Diablo Immortal. The wet fart heard round the internet earned the ire of many gamers, who were insulted that their favorite franchise had been reduced to a mobile-exclusive cookie-cutter game. The legions of angry nerds and gamers let loose their dogs of war that were insulting memes and indignant cries that Blizzard had pushed them too far this time. Warhammer Chaosbane devs, Eko Software, took a chance too, chiding the Diablo Immortal announcement as a chance to gain some new fans. You can see the mocking Tweet the devs sent out during the whole Diablo Immortal kerfuffle down below.

But not content with just poking the competition, the Warhammer Chaosbane team decided to release a new gameplay trailer for their action-RPG, showcasing some goodies for fans.

Said gameplay gave gamers an in-depth look at the game’s soldier class, as well as the backstory for this heroic fighter. The soldier’s name is Konrad Vollen, and he is one of the four playable characters which will feature in Warhammer Chaosbane. And being that he’s a soldier trained from childhood for combat, he’s highly proficient at stabbing and bashing things. He has melee abilities which can stun-lock enemies, as well as AoE attacks that can send Chaos flying. Konrad Vollen also possesses a ton of different active and passive abilities  that alter the way he fights, like a fire aura which changes the effects of his attacks.

The game has a 2019 release date on PC, Xbox One, and PS4. You can check out the latest gameplay footage for Warhammer Chaosbane down below as well.
