Total War Saga: Thrones of Britannia is the first in the smaller-scale Total War Saga games. Thrones of Britannia is one of many games that focuses on a small series of historically significant events. Creative Assembly have made some very important changes to the franchise with the Saga games, but to help new and returning players, they’ve released a Total War: Thrones of Britannia video which covers five new features that are coming to the game. Highlights in this video include characters, the tech tree, war fervour, unit recruitment, and the province system.
This is by no means an all-inclusive list, a lot more has changed that you’ll just have to figure out on your own.
