Warcraft 3 and it’s expansion Frozen Throne are classics within the minds of RTS fans. The interesting characters, tough battles and potential for PvP makes this RTS legendarily good. After all, it was this backdrop that eventually led to Blizzard creating World of Warcraft, the most prolific and successful MMORPG ever released. The announcement of Warcraft 3: Reforged had fans eager as all heck, as gamers across the globe eagerly awaited the chance to play this great game in a whole new way.
Warcraft 3: Reforged brings remade graphics fit for the modern era, as well as balance changes and bug fixes to the table. So now gamers are hoping in, getting ready to head back to war. But first, you have to make sure your gear is ready, so PC gamers want to know what the system requirements are for Warcraft 3: Reforged.
The Warcraft 3: Reforged system requirements have been announced, and unsurprisingly this remaster is pretty easy to run on relatively modern hardware.
The CPU side of things is pretty attainable, with only a relatively weak Core i3-530 or Phenom II X4 910 required to run the game at minimum settings. Expect this level of power to run your RTS goodness at 720p at around 30 FPS or so. You will need a GTS 450 or Radeon HD 5750 or better for a GPU. Again, with similar results if you’re operating at the low level spec.
Memory and storage requirements are pretty easy to hit too. With only 4 GB of RAM required for this remade RTS classic. Storage is the same regardless of which spec tier you want to hit, as the game always takes up 30 GB of storage space at a minimum.
