One of the most formidable objectives in the Breakout Star challenge is to get sent to the toughest prisons in this digital world, then break out of them. That’s not all either, this whole challenge even requires you to get famous after being a wanted felon of all things.

The breakout star challenge should be done in a very specific order. This guide will lay out everything you need to know, and give you tips for the fastest methods to beat each step. Keep reading to learn more.

How to Complete the Breakout Star Challenge in BitLife

For now, here are the steps you need to do to complete the Breakout Star challenge:

For the start of the challenge, you will want to lay the groundwork to easily complete the Breakout Star Challenge in BitLife.  Getting famous in BitLife can be done in myriad ways, but the simplest one is to use Social Media. Starting early in life, you want to hit up the Assets tab and open Social Media. Make accounts on each of the social media sites ASAP, and this will save you time later. You could easily spend time each year in your early teenage years making content, but it’s not super important. For now, just having the accounts made ahead of time is enough. After you’ve made your social media accounts, time to live a life of crime. Start by going into the Activities tab and choosing Crime, then pick a minor crime like Burglary from the dropdown. You need to steal a combined $50,000 in valuables in your digital life, so it’s best to get started early. Keep hitting homes and stealing in your teenage years until you get caught, this is where the real challenge begins.

Getting sent to various levels of prison requires you to spend time committing a lot of crimes. You first need to get arrested early in life for something minor, like theft or burglary. As a teenager, assuming you time it right, you will be sent to Juvie instead of normal prison. This is the first time you will need to break out.  You then need to repeatedly get arrested and break out of tougher prisons, before being sent to a maximum security prison. This will be the toughest part of the challenge, but it’s doable.

Breaking out of prison is a pretty hellish ordeal. Escaping prison in BitLife is not easy. When you get sent there, you have a limited number of options under the prison menu. Under the Activities tab, there is an Escape option. Clicking that will bring up a puzzle maze that you need to reach the exit on without getting caught. Every time you spawn in a new map, the layout is randomized, then you need to make your way to the exit. Each time you move, the guards will also move one spot. Each time they move, you need to plan ahead and move around a circuitous route to get around the guard’s path.

Here are videos that lay out each path you can use to escape each map and each tier of prison in BitLife:

A life After Crime

Now that you’re out of max-sec prison and on the lamb, it’s time to make a name for yourself. Go back into the social media section and start posting content. Always stick to a niche and post consistently. Each social media account will grow as you post, gaining likes and followers. The key is to pick a niche and stick to it. If you’re posting skit videos, don’t suddenly swap to unboxings or video games, doing so will tank your growth. Posting 3-6 times per age up is a good rule. Just be careful not to post too much. If you start losing followers, switch to a different account and do the same rotation. Once you’ve exhausted your accounts for the year, you can age up. Keep posting and going viral to grow your following. Once you’ve gone viral a few times, it should trigger the Fame menu for you.

Once you have the Fame menu unlocked, you can go into it and try to get a magazine feature. To do this, use the Photo Shoot option under the Fame tab to appear for a Magazine. You can find the Fame tab under the Activities menu.
