The holidays have invaded Destiny 2. And it turns out that many NPCs have a sweet tooth. You need to take on an event quest to make holiday treats for many different folks, all across the system. After you have hit up the NPC Eva Levante for your mission in the Tower, you’re kind of left to your own devices. The Dawning 2021 recipes aren’t going to make themselves, so you need to get moving. Here’s some help with finding a particular ingredient.
How to farm Sharp Flavor in Destiny 2
Sharp Flavor is actually one of the easier ones to get your Guardian mitts on.
Sharp Flavor only drops when you kill enemies with a Sword. Swords are all classed as Power Weapons, so you will need to be able to use this type reliably to farm the ingredient. Since you need two Sharp Flavor, you’re in for a bit of extra effort. Head out into any Public Event or Lost Sector and start chopping enemies to bits. If you can find a Public Event before it begins, you can get a free ammo replenishment by touching the flag. But if not, don’t worry about it.
Once you have the Sharp Flavor, it’s time to get baking. Head back to the Holiday Oven and craft the recipes you’re after with the Dawning 2021 ingredients you were able to get. This ingredient is used in the Ascendant Apple Tart for Queen Mara, and the Vanilla Blades for Lord Shaxx. You need Cabal Oil and Taken Butter for those two recipes as well.
