Monster Hunter World fans are eagerly awaiting the announcement of the release date and other details for the PC version of the game tomorrow, but it seems one such set of details was leaked online a bit early. Tencent runs its own distribution platform in China called WeGame, and a listing appeared on the service for Monster Hunter World earlier today. Keen-eyed gamers managed to copy the listing before it disappeared, here it is below:
Minimum PC requirements:
Processor: Intel Core i5 4460 @ 3.2GHz
RAM: 8GB
GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 760
HDD: 25GB free space
OS: Windows 7, 8, 8.1, or Windows 10
Recommended PC specs:
Processor: Intel Core i7 3770 @ 3.4GHz
RAM: 8GB
GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060
HDD: 25GB free space
OS: Windows 7, 8, 8.1, or Windows 10
More information on the PC version, including the release date, will be revealed tomorrow (July 9) at 9am PT/5pm BST. So we’ll finally get to figure out if that supposedly leaked release date from a few days ago was accurate or not then.
And as Monster Hunter World prepares to enter a new phase with ongoing Summer events and a new wave of players for the best-selling Capcom game, the title looks to be heading for a hugs launch for PC. Whatever the future holds for MHW, things are looking up for fans and the devs alike.
Happy Hunting!
