Payday 2’s San Martín Bank Heist is available now

Payday 2’s San Martín Bank Heist

Payday 2 has gotten a new heist set in the Mexican town of San Martín, bringing plenty of chaos and some new toys to the crime sim shooter. And there’s not just a new bank heist to make money on. Players will also get to enjoy the destructive power of the Federales Weapon Pack DLC. There are even some new cosmetic options on the table.

“The Payday Gang’s old associate Vlad has some personal items of immense value deposited in a small town bank in Mexico. The bank is, however, owned by a Mexican crime cartel, and what’s worse, Vlad has fallen out with this cartel. Needing to get his stuff out, Vlad contracts the Payday Gang to hit the bank,” says the official description of the new content.

The new gameplay elements of the San Martín Bank Heist include a new map, on which you will battle new police units as part of the Mexican SWAT teams. These are no slouches either, the cops south of the border are just as vicious as anywhere else when it comes to bank robbers.

The developers also release a trailer for the new San Martín Bank Heist, check it out down below.

This new release also coincides with the first ever Weapon Color Pack DLC for Payday 2. This is the first cosmetic alteration of its kind in the game, offering new weapon colors like Dark Green, Foliage Green, Olive Green, Sky Gray, Olive Brown, Desert Tan, Tropical Blue, Royal Blue, Steel Blue, Navy Blue, Chocolate, Prison Pink, Dark Purple, Sports Red, Rust Red, Thermal Orange, Dark Yellow, Bright Yellow, Intense Green, and Mint Green.

The Federales Weapon Pack DLC includes the Bernetti Auto Pistol, Czech 92 Pistol, and Igor Automatik Pistol. Each of these can be altered to work akimbo or in multiple fire modes. This combines with the new Tailor Pack DLC, the second of its kind. Various barrels, grips and magazines offer a variety of powerful weapon mods to pick from as well, all combined wit the other DLC.
