EA’s latest Star Wars shooter Star Wars: Battlefront 2 is now on Origin Access. Anyone who has stumped up the monthly subscription can now play the game ahead of the game’s full release.

The draw here is that this demo includes ten hours of access to both the singleplayer and multiplayer versions of the game. Those who buy into this offer also get a 10% discount on the full game when it releases. That launch happens in less than a week, so get moving if you want that discount.

Play a part in a gaming experience inspired by forty years of timeless Star Wars™ films: dominate in rich multiplayer battles across all three eras (prequel, classic and new trilogy) or rise as a new hero and discover an emotionally gripping single-player story spanning three decades. Customize your heroes, starfighters or troopers, each with unique abilities to exploit in battle. Use the Force to prove your worth against iconic characters like Kylo Ren, Darth Maul or Han Solo. Become more powerful than you can possibly imagine.

And now your Star Wars™ journey starts early with EA Access: try Star Wars™ Battlefront™ II days before launch at no extra cost (full details coming soon). Plus, your save progress carries over to the full game if you decide to buy, and you’ll get a 10% discount automatically with your membership.

If this is a big enough pull to check out Origin Access, it will cost $4.99 a month but there are other new games available for trials. Head to the page for more.

An EA Access membership is just $4.99 a month – buy one new EA game, and your membership pays for itself with your 10% discount. Or you can save even more when you sign up for a full year for $29.99.
